Hayes Bolsters Ethereum Stash as Price Ticks Closer to $2,000
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has increased his Ethereum holdings by purchasing another $1.2 million in ETH. The latest acquisition consists of 645 ETH, which was bought through FalconX around nine hours ago.
This purchase brings Hayes' total Ethereum purchases since July 15 to 3,915 ETH, valued at approximately $7.47 million. His accumulated position has been built at an average purchase price of $1,909 per ETH.
Ethereum is nearing the closely watched $2,000 psychological threshold, currently trading at $1,963 - a 4.4% gain over the previous 24 hours.
