Hayes Sees $1M BTC by 2030, But He's Betting on ETH Instead
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, is predicting that Bitcoin could reach $1 million by 2030 due to factors such as the collapse of the AI bubble and massive money printing. However, he's not betting on BTC; instead, he's buying Ethereum (ETH) because it has better risk-reward potential.
Hayes believes that Bitcoin has all the necessary ingredients for a seven-figure price over the next four years. He attributes this to the current market conditions, including the collapse of the AI bubble and massive money printing. Hayes also thinks that the potential US yield curve control will contribute to BTC's growth.
In contrast, Hayes is less optimistic about Hyperliquid's future upside. He believes that everyone knows about Hyperliquid, which means it doesn't have the same level of asymmetry in its price as other assets do. As a result, he thinks there are better risk-reward opportunities elsewhere.
