Hayes Sets Sights on $10K ETH Target for 2026
Arthur Hayes, former BitMEX CEO, has predicted that Ethereum (ETH) will reach $10,000 by year-end 2026. This target would require Ether to rise more than fourfold from its current price around $2,400.
Hayes framed the projection as a speculative portfolio view rather than a valuation-backed forecast. His family office, Maelstrom, remains structurally long Bitcoin, while Hayes also outlined targets of $0.50 for Ethena's ENA token and $2 for Ether.fi's ETHFI.
The thesis behind this call is that financial strain and policy responses will push more liquidity into markets. Hayes has pointed to Treasury bond-buyback activity and Federal Reserve balance-sheet growth as possible supports for risk assets.
