HBAR Price Struggles to Keep Pace with Enterprise Blockchain Growth
Hedera's HBAR token has been struggling to keep pace with its strong enterprise blockchain ecosystem, which includes 31 global organizations as part of its Governing Council. Despite this growth, investors are questioning whether network expansion translates into stronger token performance.
The fixed supply of 50 billion HBAR tokens and a market capitalization of approximately $2.95 billion, according to CoinMarketCap, have led to concerns about the token's long-term outlook.
One key catalyst for potential growth is the introduction of spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which have changed how institutions gain exposure to digital assets. The Canary HBAR ETF, launched on Nasdaq in October 2025, and other pending applications aim to create direct demand in the open market as assets under management increase.
