HBAR Sees Strong ETF Inflows Amid Market Weakness
Hedera's HBAR token has been attracting significant institutional interest despite its weak price performance. In July, HBAR saw $3 million in net ETF inflows, making it the strongest monthly inflow since May. This influx of capital came at a time when HBAR was experiencing technical weakness, having fallen below the important $0.07 support zone.
Despite this setback, institutional investors continued to show confidence in Hedera, with HBAR closing July with only a small monthly loss of 0.94%. In comparison, Solana (SOL) saw nearly $14 million in ETF inflows during July but delivered weaker price performance, declining by over 1.7%.
The recent move below the $0.07 support level has left HBAR facing another major challenge. With ETF flows turning neutral in August, the token's key support near $0.065 is under increasing pressure. Market participation remains subdued, and the HBAR to Bitcoin ratio continues to decline, having erased nearly 20% over three months.
