Helium Network Unveils Operating System for Telecom and Connectivity
Helium Network has been making significant developments between August 29 and September 2. The price of HNT skyrocketed by 134% in a month, but most holders missed the network's infrastructure progress. Helium published three new blog posts, unveiled a new product category, and expanded its footprint into two locations during this period.
One major announcement was the launch of HeliumOS, an operating system for telecom and connectivity. It allows carriers to rely on coverage created by others without owning every tower. The platform bundles five key features: subscriber management, billing, SIM activation, provisioning, and AI-powered analytics through HeliumAI.
Affinity Ventures is already operating on the platform as its first customer. CEO Mario Di Dio described it as 'the future of wireless', a distributed infrastructure that converges cellular, satellite, and Wi-Fi to deliver the best user experience while helping operators scale efficiently.
