Helium Token Price Surges on Repeatable Texas Deployment Model
The price of Helium's token, HNT, surged 113% in recent days after the company detailed its Texas deployment, which could serve as a repeatable model for expanding cellular coverage elsewhere.
HNT climbed from about $0.3292 to a four-hour high near $0.7026, before retreating to $0.633 at the time of writing. The token's market capitalization remained around $121.1 million during this period.
The spike in HNT's price was largely driven by expectations that Celina's model can be repeated across more cities, bringing additional Wi-Fi locations, carrier traffic and Data Credit demand.
