Hilbert Group, a company in the crypto space, posted growth in its fee-paying assets and management revenue for Q2 2026. Despite this positive trend, the company's stock fell sharply by 21.75% to $2.95 from its previous close of $3.77.

The decline was unexpected given that Hilbert Group's market-neutral strategies stayed positive during a difficult period for Bitcoin, which fell about 14% in Q2 and over 25% in the first half of the year.

According to the company, management fee revenue rose 74% sequentially in dollar terms, while combined management and performance fees totaled just over $232,000. Fee-paying assets under management rose in five out of the six months leading up to Q2, with an 8.5% increase during that quarter.

Hilbert Group's CEO, Barnali Biswal, attributed the company's resilience in a weak market to its focus on execution and disciplined strategies that earn from structure, spreads, and discipline rather than directional exposure to Bitcoin.
