Historical indicators suggest that Bitcoin's bear market may be ending, according to research by Blockworks Research.

The study examined five long-term cycle indicators and found that they all point to the same conclusion: Bitcoin is likely at or near its low point in the current cycle.

One indicator, the Nasdaq/Bitcoin Relative Strength Signal, showed that Bitcoin's price has reached a historic oversold level against the Nasdaq Index. This has only occurred four times before, and the previous instances were followed by significant returns for Bitcoin over the next 1-3 years.

Another indicator, the Gold/Bitcoin Relative Strength Signal, also showed an extreme reading in February 2026, which coincided with a long-cycle price low for Bitcoin. Historically, such readings have been followed by substantial returns for Bitcoin against gold and the dollar over the next 1-3 years.
