HIVE Deploys Antminer S21 XP Miners at Yguazú Facility in Paraguay
HIVE Digital Technologies has deployed Antminer S21 XP miners at its Yguazú facility in Paraguay. The 200 MW hydro-powered site is part of HIVE's expansion plans, which aim to reach a total capacity of 300 MW in the country.
The project involves two phases: Phase 1 adds 6 EH/s of capacity, while Phase 2 will add an additional 6.5 EH/s using hydro-cooled ASICs by August 31, 2025.
HIVE expects to reach a total of 25 EH/s by September 2025 and aims to account for 3% of the global Bitcoin mining network.
