HIVE Digital Taps Industry Veteran Mark Volk for AI Infrastructure Push
HIVE Digital Technologies has appointed Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue at its subsidiary BUZZ HPC. This move is aimed at driving global sales of AI infrastructure. Volk brings extensive experience from companies like HPE and IBM, which he will leverage to scale BUZZ's GPU-powered AI cloud and hybrid solutions.
HIVE Digital has also achieved a significant milestone by surpassing $1 million in average daily revenue from Bitcoin mining and GPU cloud services. This translates to about 12 Bitcoin per day being produced, with the company generating around $100,000 in daily revenue from GPU cloud services.
The company plans to repurpose some of its Bitcoin mining facilities for higher-value AI and HPC applications. The goal is to maximize infrastructure efficiency and drive long-term growth in AI revenue.
