HIVE Surpasses $1 Million Daily Revenue Milestone Amid AI Infrastructure Expansion
HIVE Digital Technologies has reached a significant milestone in its operations, surpassing $1 million in daily revenue from its bitcoin mining and GPU cloud services. The company attributes this growth to its expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure business.
This achievement comes as HIVE appoints former Hewlett Packard Enterprise executive Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue for BUZZ High-Performance Computing (HPC), a subsidiary of the company. Volk, who has been consulting for HIVE since about nine months ago, will oversee global sales strategy, partnerships, and commercialization of GPU cloud, colocation, and hybrid AI services.
HIVE plans to repurpose its Swedish mining facilities for HPC and AI workloads to maximize infrastructure value. The company's combined daily revenue from bitcoin mining has exceeded $1 million since August 21, with an average of about 12 bitcoins produced per day. GPU cloud services have generated approximately $100,000 in daily revenue.
