Hivemind Digital Group Secures $17M in Strategic Funding from M&G Investments
Hivemind Digital Group, a tokenization-focused asset manager and parent company of Hivemind Capital, has secured $17 million in strategic funding led by M&G Investments. The round also saw participation from CPIC Investment Management (HK), ZA Bank, FalconX, Sonic Boom Ventures, and other investors.
The funds will be used to accelerate the deployment of tokenization infrastructure and invest in opportunities across traditional and digital asset classes. Hivemind plans to build on its existing institutional network and partnerships as it expands globally.
The strategic relationship between Hivemind and M&G Investments has been formalized, with Alex Seddon, Head of Impact and Private Equity at M&G Investments, joining Hivemind's board of directors. Other notable investors in the round include former senior executives from Man Group, Apollo Global Management, Coinbase, Citi, First Citizens Bank, and GoldenTree Asset Management.
Hivemind is poised to capitalize on projections that the tokenized asset market could reach $18.9 trillion by 2033. The company's growth plan focuses on deploying into tokenization-enabled strategies, expanding institutional partnerships, and building infrastructure for the next-generation asset management industry.
