HOOD Stock Surges as Bitcoin Bounces Back and Regulatory Hopes Rise
Robinhood's stock surged 8.2% to $112.09 on Tuesday, driven by a combination of factors including a Bitcoin rebound and optimism over a potential repeal of the U.S. day-trading rule.
The latter could lead to increased retail trading volumes, boosting Robinhood's transaction-based revenue.
Mizuho analyst Dan Dolev pointed out that the crypto rebound looks healthy, citing lower leverage in the system and stronger ETF inflows.
He specifically called out Robinhood as his top pick in the space, highlighting its strong retail market share and high operating leverage.
