Hoskinson Admits Cardano Needs Strategic Overhaul Amid Slumping Price
Cardano (ADA) has been struggling to regain its footing, currently trading at $0.1566, down 1.57% in the last 24 hours and 95% below its September 2021 all-time high of $3.09.
In a recent X AMA on July 27, Charles Hoskinson acknowledged the need for change, stating: 'I still do believe our best days are ahead of us… We just have to change the approach, and we just have to change the strategy.'
Hoskinson's admission that something needs to change comes as ADA has shed -53% this year alone, compounded by the cancellation of the 2026 Cardano Summit and ongoing governance disputes.
The technical structure of ADA offers little near-term comfort, with altcoins broadly remaining in risk-off territory. The current setup is worth examining closely before any catalyst thesis gets priced in.
