Hoskinson Compares Relitigating Ethereum's Founding to Trauma
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson lost his patience during an interview with The Block when asked to revisit the story behind Ethereum's founding. 'Shame on you for asking it,' he said, implying that the question was lazy given how thoroughly documented the period is. 'Do some basic research,' he added.
Hoskinson has answered similar questions about his past around 400 times, and he framed the repetition as comparable to badgering someone after trauma. He argued that continually returning to a short stretch of his career offers little insight for readers or viewers at this point.
Instead of revisiting the details of Ethereum's founding, Hoskinson pointed reporters toward Cardano's growth into a $100 billion network. He suggested that this technical work is more relevant than rehashing his brief tenure at Ethereum.
