Valente claimed that the crypto sector undermines its own credibility by continuing to invite Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson to conferences, accepting sponsorships, and featuring Cardano in podcasts.

Hoskinson responded directly to Valente's post, pointing out what he called 'bias' from the ARK Invest Director of Research. He dismissed the criticism, suggesting that it reflected personal bias rather than an objective assessment of Cardano.
