Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), has added his voice to growing concerns over U.S. President Donald Trump's involvement in cryptocurrency businesses.

Hoskinson believes that a sitting president should not directly participate in the crypto market, citing potential conflicts of interest and a lack of bipartisan cooperation on crypto regulation.

This is not the first time Hoskinson has raised this issue, he said he's been speaking out about it for over a year. He points to Trump's businesses generating $1.4 billion in revenue last year as an example of how his involvement can create problems.

Hoskinson also expressed support for Senator Elizabeth Warren's opposition to the 'Clarity bill', which aims to prevent Trump from gaining financial benefits from crypto-related businesses while in office. He agrees with Warren that stronger safeguards are needed to protect public trust in crypto policymaking and prevent potential conflicts of interest.
