Hoskinson Predicts Crypto Prices Will Need More Time Before Catching Up
Charles Hoskinson, CEO and founder of Input Output, believes that crypto prices may need another three to six months of pressure before catching up with the industry's technological progress.
Hoskinson compares current market conditions to a bear market, citing the Crypto Fear and Greed Index at 24, while Bitcoin ETFs have recorded around $4.5 billion in net outflows despite holding approximately $80 billion in assets under management.
He argues that this is a great buying opportunity and points out that crypto has already survived various challenges such as wars, geopolitical shocks, and major regulatory events.
Hoskinson suggests that the next recovery cannot depend on simply building faster blockchains but rather moving towards a broader Web 2.5 model.
He cites regulated companies like Canton, Ripple, Circle, Tether, and Binance as examples of connecting traditional businesses with blockchain technology.
