Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson is still bullish on Bitcoin's price target of $250,000 by 2026. He attributes this optimism to persistent institutional demand for the cryptocurrency.

In a recent YouTube interview with Altcoin Daily, Hoskinson stated that Bitcoin holders have been hesitant to surrender custody of their coins, preventing them from being deployed across decentralized finance platforms.

Hoskinson believes that non-custodial credit systems are the missing infrastructure piece needed to allow Bitcoin owners to lend their holdings for stablecoins without third-party control.
