House Committee Examines Crypto's Impact on Small Businesses
The House Committee on Small Business is set to examine the impact of digital assets and pending legislation on small business operations this week.
A hearing titled “Main Street Meets Crypto: What Digital Assets Mean for Small Businesses” is scheduled for September 15 at 11:00 a.m. ET in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
The session will feature witnesses Faryar Shirzad, chief policy officer at Coinbase; Ben Leventhal, CEO of Blackbird Labs; and Dr. Andrew Wu from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
The full committee will mark up 10 bills related to small business policy on September 16, addressing areas such as foreign threats, SBA oversight, disaster loans, cybersecurity, and manufacturing reshoring.
