House Committee Prepares to Debate Crypto Tax Bill and Alzheimer's Measures
The House Ways and Means Committee is set to hold a markup hearing on September 16, where several bills will be discussed, including H.R. 10357, also known as the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act.
This bill aims to eliminate tax on network or transaction fees below $10, but users with more than 5,000 transfers in the prior year would not qualify for the exemption.
The committee will also discuss H.R. 6130, the Alzheimer's Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act of 2025, which proposes to cover early detection screening tests for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias starting January 1, 2028.
