HTX Expands Pakistan Presence Through Community Engagement
HTX is expanding its presence in Pakistan by engaging with regulatory bodies and local users. The exchange held two community AMAs (Ask Me Anything) and an X Space session to introduce itself to Pakistani users and build a direct channel with the local crypto community.
The events follow HTX's decision to enter Pakistan through its formal licensing process, rather than treating it as a short-term market. This approach reflects the exchange's commitment to operating in compliance with local regulations.
HTX has already received a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), which allows it to proceed with anti-money-laundering registration, establishment of a local entity, and preparation of its VASP licence application. The exchange is maintaining ongoing dialogue with the regulator and local professional advisers to lay the groundwork for operating in the country.
HTX's work in Pakistan is proceeding along three fronts: regulatory compliance, local communication, and user service. The exchange aims to understand what Pakistani users need from an exchange, including asset security, payment on-ramps, and product coverage.
