Huizenga Backs Clarity Act at Pro-Crypto Roundtable

The event aimed to bring together local business owners and cryptocurrency advocates to discuss various topics related to crypto's role in small businesses and how legislation could advance the industry.
Huizenga expressed his support for the CLARITY Act, a bill that would establish regulatory guidelines for digital commodities, which has garnered significant backing from crypto companies. He noted that crypto can serve as a 'great equalizer' by providing financial security to individuals from various backgrounds.
Kavitha Kanaparthi, founder of tech firm Soulverse, also spoke at the event and emphasized the importance of cryptocurrency adoption, stating that people have money in their pockets that could be put towards crypto investments.
