Hunter Biden Enters Memecoin Space with $LAPTOP Token Launch
Hunter Biden is entering the world of memecoins with his new $LAPTOP token, which will launch on September 9th. The token will be available on crypto exchange Base, and one billion tokens will be issued. Hunter Biden and his co-founders will hold 30% of the supply, while 20% will go to subscribers of his Substack newsletter and a mailing list maintained by Andrew Callahan.
The $LAPTOP token will also have a unique feature: up to 30% of its coins can be destroyed based on certain events. For example, if a Democrat wins the presidency in 2028 or Bitcoin reaches an all-time high, tokens will be burned, increasing the value of the remaining coins.
Hunter Biden has been vocal about his support for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. He recently responded to a user on X, saying that decentralized digital currency is 'the inevitable future.'
