Hunter Biden Launches His Own Memecoin After Criticizing Trump's Crypto Venture
Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has launched his own memecoin called LAPTOP. This move comes just two and a half weeks after he criticized President Donald Trump's crypto venture as 'corruption at a scale we've never seen.'
LAPTOP will have a total supply of 1 billion tokens, with 20% allocated for airdrops and another 20% covering charity, liquidity, and foundation functions. The founding team allocation carries a six-month lock-up and vests over two years.
The token's airdrop specifically targets wallets that lost money on TRUMP, which has shed more than 90% of its market cap since launch. Biden confirmed the LAPTOP ticker on X shortly after the plan was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Mark Cuban called every meme coin 'a rug pull in the works,' with LAPTOP's six-month founder lock-up marking the real moment of reckoning.
