Hunter Biden Launches LAPTOP Meme Coin Amid Crypto Community Backlash

Hunter Biden's LAPTOP meme coin is set to launch today on Coinbase's Base network. The token is named after Hunter Biden's infamous laptop controversy in 2019, whose contents became a major political issue in the 2020 US presidential election.

Biden aims to give back to the crypto community and charity by airdropping 20% of the token supply, including those who lost money on Donald Trump's TRUMP meme coin. He claims that nearly one million TRUMP wallets have lost about $3.8 billion.

The project sets aside 30% of the supply for founders, which will be locked for six months and released over the next two years. Another 20% is allocated to airdrops, with 10% unlock on day one and 10% later.
