Hunter Biden Launches Meme Coin LAPTOP with Community Airdrop Plan

Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has launched a meme coin called LAPTOP. The name is a reference to the 'Hunter Biden laptop controversy' that emerged before the 2020 presidential election. In an X post on September 8, Biden said he turned 'the symbol they used to try to end me' into a symbol of recovery and comeback.

LAPTOP's token distribution plan includes a 20% community airdrop, which will include users who lost money investing in Official Trump (TRUMP). Another 30% of the supply will be handled under a pre-set structure tied to specific conditions. If these conditions are met, those tokens will be permanently burned; if not, they will be donated to charity.

Biden stressed that investors should not expect anyone to increase the token's value and emphasized that LAPTOP's purpose is not simply to hold the token.
