Hunter Biden Rivals Trump with Launch of LAPTOP Meme Coin

Hunter Biden is launching his own meme coin called LAPTOP on September 9, 2026. The name is a nod to his infamous laptop saga from 2020, which has since become recognizable political branding.

The new token will be listed on Coinbase's layer-2 network, Base, with a billion tokens available at launch. Thirty percent of the tokens will be allocated to Hunter and his co-founders, who will have to wait six months for them to unlock and two years for them to fully vest.

In a surprising move, 20% of the token's supply will be airdropped to holders of the TRUMP meme coin, as well as subscribers to Hunter's Substack blog 'Where's Hunter?'

This move is seen as a way for Hunter to capitalize on the internet's love for political irony and rival his father's perceived enemies. It also serves as an extension of Hunter's personal brand.
