Hunter Biden's LAPTOP Meme Coin Prepares for Debut Amid Tokenomics and Charity Donations

Hunter Biden has announced his plan for the launch of his LAPTOP meme coin ahead of its debut on Base. The tokenomics are outlined in a post on X, where Biden describes how much of the supply will go to community wallets, including those who lost money on the Official Trump (TRUMP) token.

Biden built his pitch around the laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop, whose contents fueled years of attacks on him. He described himself as seven years sober and cast the laptop as a symbol of recovery.

According to Biden, 20% of the coins will be airdropped to the community, including those who lost money on TRUMP. Nearly 1 million wallets lost roughly $3.8 billion on TRUMP, Biden claimed. Another 30% sits behind a pre-programmed mechanism that can trigger token burning or charity donations.

Biden stated that people should not expect him or anyone else to make the token more valuable for them. The project also allocates 50 million tokens to charity regardless of any conditions.
