Huobi HTX Tournament Designs Accessibility into Peak Event
As part of Huobi HTX's ($0.00 · Live) VIP Guardian Plan series, which focuses on exceptional customer service experiences and market observations, we spoke with Miao, head of trading activities and chief designer behind their 13th-anniversary peak tournament.
Miao explained that the team considered how to make the tournament accessible to users who don't have a lot of capital or can't monitor their accounts all day. They want these users to be able to participate and win, even if they're not professional traders.
The tournament has three stages: an accumulation stage, a personal stage, and a team stage, with a total prize pool of 80 million USDT ($1.00 · Live). The personal and team stages have two tracks - spot and contract trading - and feature three leaderboards for transaction volume, revenue, and return on investment.
The team made several changes to the tournament format based on user feedback. For example, users suggested that teams should be able to combine spot and contract traders in a single team, which is now possible. The team also added features like automatic trader replication and rewards for new users who participate in the tournament.
