HYPE Price Rises to $72 as Trump's Comments Boost Hyperliquid
The Hyperliquid token has seen a significant surge in price, reaching $72 after rebounding from the 50-55 support zone. This move has brought HYPE close to its key resistance level of $72.18, which could be a crucial point for the bulls.
The rally is attributed to two major developments: Trump's comments on Hyperliquid and Coinbase's integration of the platform into its Base App. The former may have improved the regulatory outlook for Hyperliquid, while the latter has provided a distribution channel through one of the largest U.S. crypto platforms.
However, the growth in open interest has also raised caution, as it makes the ecosystem more sensitive to sudden price swings. With total open interest crossing $11 billion in July and HIP-3 markets experiencing a 1400% increase in open interest, a sharp reversal cannot be ruled out if the breakout fails.
