HYPE Soars as Analysts Predict Hyperliquid's Strong Bull Market Performance
Hyperliquid's token, HYPE, has been gaining traction in recent months, and analysts are touting its potential to outperform in a bull market. According to Pentoshi, a veteran trader, HYPE was the best-performing asset in the bear market, with a gain of 33% over the past three months. This surge is all the more impressive given that major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP rose by between 1% and 15% during the same period.
One reason for HYPE's potential to outperform in a bull market is its direct exposure to crypto trading activity. As Pentoshi notes, 99% of fees generated by the platform go toward HYPE burns, which means that increased activity could lead to reduced token supply. With the upcoming Aqav2 catalyst expected to generate an additional $500,000 to $600,000 in daily fees for HYPE burns, and potentially doubling this figure to around $1 million per day with increased on-chain adoption, HYPE's prospects look bright.
Another key factor supporting HYPE is the potential for U.S. access. According to Blockworks analyst Shaunda Devens, Hyperliquid could gain U.S. access, allowing regulated firms to build on it while handling KYC, market surveillance, and customer protections. This would give compliant U.S. investors access without forcing Hyperliquid's underlying permissionless protocol to become a traditional regulated exchange.
