HYPE Token Surges 128% as Bitcoin and XRP Fall
An investor who put $10,000 each into Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, and Hyperliquid's HYPE token in January would have seen a total gain of around 18.22% over seven months.
This is according to calculations based on the current prices of these assets. However, only one of them, HYPE, has managed to stay in profit, while Bitcoin and XRP have both dropped by an average of about 37% since January 1st.
The biggest loser was XRP, which started the year at $1.88 and currently trades at around $1.02, resulting in a loss of about 45.8%. Bitcoin, on the other hand, began the year at $88,764 but has dropped to $64,081 over the past seven months, representing a decline of nearly 28%.
HYPE is the standout performer among these three assets, having risen by an impressive 128% since January. This significant growth can be attributed to the platform's measurable growth, including record trading volume and revenue, as well as its burn mechanism that actively shrinks supply.
