HYPE Token Surges Past All-Time High After Trump White House Remarks

Hyperliquid's native token HYPE surged to an all-time high of $77.55 on Aug. 21, following U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks at the White House about bringing the decentralized derivatives exchange into the United States.

The price increase came after Trump mentioned CFTC Chair Michael Selig was 'working to bring Hyperliquid into the United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion.'

Hyperliquid is a popular platform for high-frequency and speculative crypto traders, offering high-leverage perpetuals trading of cryptocurrencies, commodities, and tokenized stocks.

The White House meeting with crypto executives also saw Trump promote his administration's crypto agenda and call for passage of the 'CLARITY Act.'
