HYPE Whale Accumulation Challenges Institutional Transfers

A whale accumulation is challenging institutional players in HYPE's market, pushing back against $72M worth of institutional transfers. The new wallet accumulated around 440,000 HYPE worth $37.26 million from FalconX.

This fresh demand is opposing the institutional transfers. Multicoin Capital deposited 815,885 HYPE worth $59.8 million into Coinbase Prime over ten days, while Bitwise transferred a total of 145,170 HYPE worth $12.04 million to Hyperliquid.

The recent spot outflows have weakened the supply threat, as exchange inflows exceeded withdrawals in early August. The netflow reading has since reversed, with a negative reading of -$1.05 million indicating that outflows surpassed inflows for the period.
