Hype Whale Sells $1.77M in HYPE Tokens on Hyperliquid

An anonymous cryptocurrency whale has sold 31,560 $HYPE tokens on Hyperliquid for approximately $1.77 million, according to blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens.

The whale deposited 60,000 $HYPE tokens into Hyperliquid before executing the sale and has also transferred about 1.67 million $USDC to Coinbase, potentially signaling a shift in strategy.

A TWAP (time-weighted average price) order is currently active to sell an additional 40,000 $HYPE worth around $2.1 million over the next 15 hours, minimizing market impact.
