HyperLabs Unlocks $23M in HYPE Tokens Amid Ongoing Team Vesting Schedule
HyperLabs has released 433,025 HYPE tokens worth over $23 million, making them available for trading on exchanges. This is part of the company's team vesting program, which began in January 2026 and will continue through 2027.
The latest release follows a previous unlock event in February, where 9.92 million HYPE tokens were put into circulation without causing a significant price drop. The protocol's Assistance Fund uses trading fee revenue to acquire HYPE, creating recurring demand that can absorb part of the supply entering the market.
Onchain tracking shows that 165,000 HYPE tokens have been routed through Flowdesk and exchanges, with 75,000 tokens sold for USDC on Hyperliquid. The fate of the remaining tokens will determine how much of this particular unlock ultimately reaches the open market.
