Hyperliquid Advocates Push for Energy Perpetual Futures Market in the US
The Hyperliquid Policy Center and tradeXYZ have petitioned the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to allow energy perpetual futures contracts in the United States.
In a joint comment letter, the two entities propose a compliant framework that would enable 24/7 trading of crude oil and natural gas perpetual contracts.
The proposal also seeks recognition of stablecoins and tokenized traditional assets as margin collateral and formal acknowledgment of on-chain systems for trade execution, clearing, and settlement.
