Hyperliquid and Pyth Address Critical Pricing Gap in TradFi Market
Hyperliquid and Pyth Network are stepping into a critical 53-hour pricing gap in the TradFi market, according to recent reports. The news comes as Hyperliquid's tokenized real-world asset (RWA) perpetual contracts continue to gain traction, representing over 33% of total activity during the second quarter of 2026. This marks a significant shift towards equities and metals on-chain trading, which has been growing steadily throughout August.
Hyperliquid set a new record with more than $4.13 billion in open interest across its tokenized RWA markets, while daily trading volume surged to unprecedented levels. Meanwhile, Pyth Network is expanding its market data distribution into blockchain through partnerships with Nasdaq and other institutional fixed income data providers. The addition of OpenYield as a publisher brings real-time pricing data on U.S. Treasury bonds, further solidifying Pyth's position in the TradFi market.
As a result of these developments, Hyperliquid is breaking new ground, while Pyth Network continues to establish itself as a leader in institutional fixed income data provision. The critical 53-hour pricing gap represents a major opportunity for both platforms to capitalize on growing demand and cement their positions in the market.
