Hyperliquid Booked $3.39M Loss After Flipping $233M Longs

A prominent trader known as Hyperliquid has taken significant losses following a recent dip in cryptocurrency markets. The whale flipped $233 million in long positions, resulting in a floating loss of $3.39 million.

The losses were incurred on 1,400 BTC held at an average price of $78,672 and 50,000 ETH held at an average price of $2,469. These positions collectively amount to $1.94 million and $1.45 million in losses, respectively.

This is not the first time Hyperliquid has faced significant losses. On August 25, the same trader booked a profit of $61.72 million after holding a long position through three months of drawdown that peaked at $120 million loss.
