Hyperliquid, an investment protocol, has burned approximately $829,500 in HYPE tokens over the past 24 hours. The tokens were purchased at an average price of $85.27 per token and represent a small fraction of the daily trading volume.

The burn is part of Hyperliquid's Assistance Fund, which directs most eligible protocol fee revenue toward open-market HYPE purchases. The fund then removes the tokens from circulation, reducing the overall supply.

At current prices, the cumulative balance of burned HYPE would be valued at approximately $4.14 billion. This figure represents a mark-to-market calculation and does not reflect the amount Hyperliquid spent acquiring the tokens.
