Hype (HYPE) holders are in for some good news as one of its key catalysts is about to kick in. According to KuCoin, the Hyperliquid Assistance Fund will start accumulating yield on HYPE's USDC reserves from August 26. This mechanism has been overlooked by many, but it's a significant development that could have a positive impact on the token.
The first distribution of accumulated yield is expected on October 3, with 90% of it flowing into the Assistance Fund to buy back HYPE tokens. This cycle will continue every 30 days, providing steady buy pressure on the token over time.
