Hyperliquid Crypto Surges as HYPE Outperforms Bitcoin by 91%
The price of HYPE, the token associated with the Hyperliquid crypto platform, rose sharply in Q2 as it outperformed Bitcoin by a significant margin. According to data shared by Hyperliquid Research Collective, HYPE gained about 77% during the quarter while Bitcoin's price fell 14.2%. This marked the second consecutive quarter where HYPE performed better than Bitcoin.
The divergence in prices came as Hyperliquid expanded its trading activity and attracted U.S. exchange-traded fund demand. Additionally, a reported Pump.Fun subdomain registration sparked speculation about a possible integration between the two platforms.
Crypto analyst Jelle noted that HYPE has started moving higher again, with the next level to watch being its previous all-time high. If the token can surpass this level, it could give buyers more confidence in the market.
