Hyperliquid Enters Nasdaq CME Crypto Index Alongside Bitcoin, XRP
Hyperliquid has joined the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index alongside industry leaders like Bitcoin and XRP. The update, which took effect today following a quarterly rebalancing, shows Hyperliquid with a 3.36% weighting in the index. Bitcoin remains the largest component at 74.36%, while Ethereum holds the second-largest share at 11.88%. XRP also retained its spot as the third-largest asset, with a 5.21% share.
The inclusion of Hyperliquid was driven by its compliance with Nasdaq CME's requirements for market capitalization, liquidity, and secure custody standards. The coin's ETF foundation in the U.S. market supported this step. As of September 1, the net asset value of spot HYPE ETFs reached $461.54 million, accounting for 2.45% of the coin's market capitalization.
