Hyperliquid Enters Nasdaq CME Crypto Index Amid Market Milestone
The cryptocurrency market has reached a significant milestone as Hyperliquid ($HYPE) joins the regulated Nasdaq CME Crypto Index alongside Bitcoin, XRP, and other leading digital assets. The changes took effect today following a quarterly rebalancing of the benchmark's composition.
According to the updated documentation filed with the SEC, Bitcoin holds the largest share at 74.36%, followed by Ethereum at 11.88%. Hyperliquid debuted with a 3.36% weighting, closely trailing Solana (3.79%) and surpassing other participants. XRP retained its status as the third-largest asset in the index with a 5.21% share.
The remaining less than 1.5% of the fund is divided among Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, and Bitcoin Cash. Hyperliquid's inclusion was driven by its strict compliance with the exchange's requirements for market capitalization, liquidity, and secure custody standards.
