Hyperliquid ETF Surges Past Bitcoin and Ethereum in Fund Inflows
The approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs by the US SEC in January 2024 marked the beginning of a new wave. Since then, several altcoins have received ETF approvals, including Ethereum, XRP, and Solana.
Among these, the Hyperliquid (HYPE) ETF has garnered significant interest from investors. According to Grayscale's analysis, the HYPE spot ETF has outperformed Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP spot ETFs in terms of cumulative fund inflows by market capitalization since its launch.
Grayscale noted that the HYPE spot ETF had the strongest start among all competitors, with the fastest early-stage investor inflows. While other ETFs, such as Bitcoin's, showed a stable inflow trend, and Ethereum's experienced a mid-period increase, the HYPE ETF stood out for its strong initial performance.
Grayscale stated that this indicates 'investor demand for HYPE remains strong.' However, it is essential to remember that Grayscale's analysis is not intended to serve as a reference for making investment decisions.
