Hyperliquid Explores US Entry via Partnership with Bitnomial
Hyperliquid Labs is exploring a route into the US market through a partnership with Bitnomial, a US-regulated digital asset exchange and clearinghouse owned by Payward. The proposed deal would allow registered US users to access selected perpetual futures tied to tokens built using Hyperliquid's blockchain technology.
The plan still requires regulatory approval from US authorities before trading can begin. If approved, the arrangement could address one of the biggest problems standing in the way of Hyperliquid entering the US market: its decentralized and permissionless model, which creates concerns for regulators about monitoring activities such as market manipulation, money laundering, and sanctions evasion.
The proposed setup would give Bitnomial a way to offer some of Hyperliquid's products to American traders through an exchange that already operates under US rules. This means US users would access the selected futures through Bitnomial rather than directly trading on Hyperliquid itself.
