Hyperliquid HYPE Token Surges to $82 as Whale Wallet Adds Another $26 Million

Hyperliquid's HYPE token has continued its impressive run, surging to $82 in value and reaching an $18.2 billion market capitalization.

The token's price increase is largely due to a major whale wallet that purchased another $26 million worth of HYPE and staked it, bringing their total stack to $322 million.

Hyperliquid also burned 32,770 HYPE tokens (~$2.65 million) in the past 24 hours at an average price of $81, with a lifetime burn now standing at 48.57 million HYPE worth around $3.82 billion.

The token's open interest rose from $7.9 billion to $8.1 billion this week, but BTC trade volumes on the platform dropped sharply by 79% in just seven days.
