Hyperliquid in Talks to Bring Perpetual Futures to US Traders
Hyperliquid is in advanced talks to bring its perpetual futures to US traders through Kraken's parent company, Payward.
The discussions would allow American customers to access a subset of Hyperliquid's crypto-linked perpetual futures via Bitnomial, a U.S.-regulated digital asset exchange and clearinghouse owned by Payward.
This potential deal marks the first push into the US market for Singapore-based Hyperliquid Labs, whose fast-growing platform has been off-limits to American customers due to regulatory concerns.
The arrangement would address the core obstacle that has kept Hyperliquid out of the US: its decentralized design, which lets anyone with access trade and raises red flags for regulators worried about manipulation or other criminal activity.
